Why learn Spanish? Not only is it world's second most spoken language (with official status in 20 countries), but learning a second language opens the doors to connection and new opportunities. Another language is a bridge to rich cultural experiences and an expansion of your personal world. 

Whether you are traveling to a Spanish-speaking country, looking to freshen up and develop what you already know, or simply have an interest in learning Spanish, there is a class here for you. 

Our options: 

• In-person classes for local students (Salt Spring Island, BC). Exact location is determined upon registration, taking your convenience into consideration. 

• Online classes (using Google Meet) 

• Hybrid in-person & online classes (according to personal preferences or schedule/convenience/ease) 

First Assessment and Trial Class: FREE*

One-on-One Classes - 1 hour sessions

4 Classes: $200

8 Classes: $384

Groups Classes (2 - 6 students)

4 Classes: $116 per student

8 Classes: $216 per student

A bit about me: having grown up in a household where two languages were spoken at all times, both Spanish and English are my mother tongues. My childhood and adolescence was spent in Colombia, and my adult years have taken place in Canada. I am now based out of Salt Spring Island, BC.

I hold a BFA from OCAD University in visual art and I am certified in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language from the Universidad de Externado in Bogotá. My years of teaching have encompassed a broad range of subjects, groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities. 

My classes are structured according to your needs as a student and your level, and they are filled with engaging learning material on the Spanish language and Hispanic culture worldwide.
